Patrick let his hair grow long to donate it to the Dutch ‘Stichting Haarwensen’, a foundation which creates wigs for young cancer patients. Patrick and his team would participate in the Roparun, a 500 km to assemble money for fighting cancer. Due to COVID-19 the Roparun could not go on. Nevertheless, Patrick let his hair grow in order to donate it later on.
Via Facebook everyone could bid for the hair. The one with the highest bid had the honors to cut it. Alconet Containers placed the highest bid and therefore Maurice cut off Patrick’s braid. We are glad to be able to contribute to such a good cause. The video shows the cutting of Patrick’s hair.
